Project completed for a commercial building complex in the northern area of the city
A complex of three office buildings (total glazed area of over 12,000 sqm) was experiencing significant energy losses due to unprotected glazed surfaces. Air conditioning bills were 35% higher than the market average, and the thermal comfort of occupants was affected by the greenhouse effect.
We conducted a detailed audit of the glazed surfaces, followed by an analysis of the solar spectrum and heat transfer coefficients. Based on the data, we proposed a strategy for applying solar control films with controlled reflection, tailored to the orientation of each facade.
Our certified teams installed high-performance films on all glazed surfaces in three stages, without disrupting office activities. The work also included perimeter sealing of the frames and optimization of natural ventilation systems.
Reduction of energy consumption for air conditioning by 42% in the warm season and 28% in the cold season. Estimated annual operational savings of EUR 180,000. Thermal comfort increased significantly, and the market value of the buildings was preserved by protecting the glazed infrastructure.
